With the acquisition
of ZyDAS, Atheros has significantly enhanced its world-class
engineering team, added to its industry-leading WLAN product
portfolio and provided an additional R&D center to support
Atheros' ongoing global expansion into new wireless markets.
Atheros has established its new Taiwan Research & Development
Center in ZyDAS' former headquarters. The facility is located
in Hsinchu Science Park, one of the world's most active areas
for semiconductor design and manufacturing.
