Qualcomm Atheros’ Wi-Fi networking solutions are certified for the new Passpoint™ features, which make it easier for enterprise OEMs to deliver products for Wi-Fi hotspots. They automatically discover nearby hotspots and create a secure connection – without constantly requiring new passwords or account numbers. Mobile consumers can now enjoy seamless connectivity wherever they roam, and service providers improve Wi-Fi offload for mobile data.

Qualcomm Atheros WLAN, Ethernet and Location technologies are built from the ground up for low power operation. Our low-power enterprise solutions comply with the stringent European Code of Conduct (CoC) on Energy Efficiency and the European Union’s Energy-using Products Director for low-power, green-energy operation. Our WLAN solutions employ a variety of tactics including Efficient Power Amplifier (EPA) design, Dynamic MIMO Power Save and Unscheduled Automatic Power Save Delivery.
