Atheros Schedules First Quarter 2006 Conference Call for April 24

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – April 7, 2006 – Atheros Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHR), a leading developer of advanced wireless solutions, has scheduled its first quarter 2006 financial results conference call for Monday, April 24, 2006 at 2 p.m. Pacific time.  Atheros will release the company’s first quarter financial results at approximately 1 p.m. Pacific time.
