Atheros Schedules Third Quarter 2004 Conference Call for Oct. 26

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Oct. 11, 2004 – Atheros Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHR), a leading developer of advanced wireless LAN (WLAN) chipsets, has scheduled its third quarter financial results conference call for Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 at 2 p.m. Pacific time.  Atheros will release the company’s third quarter 2004 financial results at approximately 1 p.m. Pacific time.
