Atheros Schedules Third Quarter 2005 Conference Call for Oct. 24

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Oct. 7, 2005 – Atheros Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHR), a leading developer of advanced wireless solutions, has scheduled its third quarter financial results conference call for Monday, Oct. 24, 2005 at 2 p.m. Pacific time.  Atheros will release the company’s third quarter 2005 financial results at approximately 1 p.m. Pacific time.
