Atheros Announces Dan Artusi as New Board Member SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Oct. 24, 2005 – Atheros Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHR), a leading developer of advanced wireless solutions, today announced that industry veteran Dan Artusi has joined the Atheros board of directors. Artusi has more than 28 years of experience in the semiconductor and communications industries. He is currently chairman and CEO of Coldwatt, Inc., a provider of high efficiency power supplies for the communications and computer industry. Prior to Coldwatt, he was president, CEO and director of Silicon Laboratories (NASDAQ: SLAB), a leading developer of mixed signal integrated circuits for products such as cell phones, set-top boxes and computer modems. Before joining Silicon Laboratories, he spent more than 20 years in various senior management roles at Motorola Semiconductor.
