Craig Barratt Joins Atheros Communications as Vice President, Technology

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 26, 2003
-- Atheros Communications Inc. today announced that Craig Barratt has joined the company as vice president, technology. Barratt will report to Rich Redelfs, president and CEO of Atheros, and will help provide technology and system architecture leadership in addition to supporting technical business development and strategic partnerships.

Barratt comes to Atheros with a deep and broad understanding of technology issues including wireless communications, software and networking, in addition to business management and operations expertise. He most recently served as executive vice president and general manager for ArrayComm Inc., a wireless technology company that has deployed its technology in approximately 100,000 wireless base stations. Prior to ArrayComm, Barratt held positions at several companies in the areas of medical imaging, control systems and computer systems.
