Atheros to Present at Lehman, Raymond James Conferences Dec. 5, 13

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 28, 2006 – Atheros Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHR), a leading developer of advanced wireless solutions, today announced that Craig Barratt, president and chief executive officer, will present at the Lehman Brothers 2006 Global Technology conference on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.  On Wednesday, Dec. 13, Jack Lazar, vice president and chief financial officer, will present at the Raymond James IT Supply Chain conference at the InterContinental Barclay hotel in New York.

The presentation at the Lehman Brothers conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Pacific time and the presentation at the Raymond James conference is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Eastern time.  Both presentations will be webcast live via the investor relations section of the Atheros website at www.atheros.com.
