We are very excited about our new family of Bluetooth® wireless technology designs which have been organically grown here at Atheros, leveraging our strong technical capabilities in RF CMOS design resulting in high performance, industry-leading solutions.  With our expertise in WLAN, we are engineering Atheros Bluetooth® solutions to optimally function and coexist with WLAN.

Leveraging our world-class customer base, we launched our ROCm Bluetooth® initiative with the industry’s first Bluetooth® design optimized for the PC OEM market.  This is also the industry’s first 2.1 + EDR Bluetooth® technology.  Our single-chip solution is implemented in standard digital CMOS in a small, low-cost QFN package that eliminates the need for external Flash.  With this highly-integrated, state of the art design, Atheros is driving broader adoption of   Bluetooth® technology in laptop and desktop products.

We believe we have the most technologically advanced and cost-effective design in the market.  And this is just the first of our Bluetooth® products--Atheros will be addressing each of the major Bluetooth® market segments over time.
